DROP-OFF & DISMISSAL PROCEDURE
The school day starts at 7:30 a.m. when students are unloaded from the buses. Students MAY NOT ARRIVE AT SCHOOL ANY EARLIER than 7:30 a.m. No one is allowed to line up in the car-rider line prior 2:30 pm for pick-up. The car-rider line is used as a driveway during school hours. Parking in the car-rider line prior to 2:30 can disrupt the flow of traffic during school hours.
Student Illness
Students are to be symptom/fever free for 24 hours prior to returning to school.

So proud of Des Arc School District today at the National History Competition at Harding. Brylee, Mary Kate and Rhett took 1st place in group presentation on the stock market crash with Lilly and Eden taking 2nd with their presentation on Bonnie and Clyde. There were over 20 in their event. Paisley, Alexis and Alana took 1st place with their website on Women playing Baseball and Keylee Williams took 1st with her individual performance on Jane Adams. Thank you Mrs Robin Burge English for teaching and taking them to the next level. Now on to state in April at UCA. Way to Go Des Arc!





The Lady Eagles fall to the Lady Bears 63 to 54. They end the District Tournament as Runner-up. They will compete next week in the Regional Tournament at Riverside High School.

The Lady Eagles trail and Lady Barton Bears 29 to 27 at the half in the District Tournament Championship game.

Congratulations to Rachel Reidhar and Jada Jones for being selected as two of five DAR Scholarship winners. Rachel will receive $500 and Jada will receive $1,000.
Adysen Johnston can add $200 to her list of scholarships being awarded to her. She will receive $200 for placing 1st runner-up overall in the state for the DAR Good Citizen Essay Contest/Scholarship.

Reminder:
Des Arc Schools will NOT be in session this Friday, Feb. 16.
We WILL be in session Monday, Feb. 19, this is a make-up snow day.

Congratulations to Des Arc High Schools 2024 Boy's State and Girl's State delegates.
Oakley Davenport, Walker Harris, Ben Kearby, Jacob Reynolds, Corbin Smith, Zachary Hill, Charleigh Patterson, Grace Knight, Kyra Hughes, Jayda Renfro, Jurnee Washington, and Kyrstin Horton.


The Brinkley Tigers defeat the Des Arc Eagles 55 to 21.

The Brinkley Tigers lead the Des Arc Eagles 31 to 13 at the half.

Des Arc Lady Eagles defeat Brinkley 54-38

Des Arc Lady Eagles lead Brinkley 36-30 in the 4th qtr

The Des Arc Lady Eagles are tied 15-15 with Brinkley at the half.
