Des Arc Elementary is gearing up for an exciting FUN Day on Friday, May 15th—and this year, we’re turning up the energy with COLOR WARS! 🌈
Each grade level has selected a team color and will be competing in a day full of fun, games, and friendly competition. We can’t wait to see our students showing their school spirit, teamwork, and creativity as they represent their colors with pride!

Sports update: Barton has forfeited today's home baseball games.
This week, our students are creating vinyl stickers for local businesses and our school vehicles, 3D printing musical instruments, and turning hand sewing into full-on masterpieces with quilts in the works!

"Stayin’ Alive" isn’t just a song—it’s a skill.
Over the last few weeks our juniors took an important step by learning hands-on CPR with Nurse Tammy York, building the confidence to respond in an emergency. Some students are even pursued certification!
A huge thank you to Dr. Melvin York for providing CPR masks for every student—because being prepared can truly make all the difference.
Congratulations to the following Juniors, voted on by the Senior Class, that will be part of this year's graduation ceremonies!
Baseball update: Next tuesdays (4/14) baseball game against Southside bee branch has been moved to wednesday (4/15) due to Southside having a conference game on that tuesday now.
