These students did a great job at History Day!!!! Keylee was awarded 2nd in the performance category and will advance to Nationals at the University of Maryland! Eden and Lilly were awarded 3rd in the exhibit division and will be a possible alternate for Nationals! Great job Mrs. English and students! Go Eagles!!!

Des Arc High School will be sending home a pair of Eclipse glasses with each student this Friday.

This week DAES students battled against surrounding districts for the Co-Op's Battle of the Books. The Bookcaneers (5th/6th) came home with 3rd place and the Tampa Bay Bookcaneers (3rd/5th) came in 5th place. We are SO PROUD of our students!

Attention all Eagle Football fans! Now that we are heavy into our off season weight training, we are encouraging the kids to help maximize their training through nutrition. One way we achieve this is through post workout protein intake and we could use your help! We are asking for donations to help meet these needs. Suggested items are bottled protein shakes, protein bars, protein powder, chocolate milk/milk, blenders, peanut butter/bread, uncrustables, etc. If you would like to donate please get in touch with Coach Barbaree or Coach Smith to arrange a drop off. There is a mandatory parent/guardian meeting this Wednesday at 5:30pm in the High School gym for all interested in trying out for Jr. High or Sr. High Cheer for the 24/25 season.

Des Arc High School is in search of a sponsor for one Boys State delegate. The tuition for the student is $250. If you would like to sponsor this student, please contact Des Arc High School and ask for Mrs Sunny.

Sports Update: The Baseball game at Dewitt, the Softball game at Hazen and the 7th Grade Track meet at Beebe have all been cancelled today. Make-up dates will be announced later.

All drivers tests (written and driving) for Prairie County will only be done at Hazen from now on - per the city. None will be given at Des Arc. You may still go online to schedule. Thank you

Don't forget to save the date! The Des Arc CTE Showcase is Tuesday, March 26 at 5:30 PM in the DAHS cafeteria. Come celebrate with us as we showcase all our CTE students have accomplished this year. FFA auction to follow. All proceeds go to help fund next year's events!
