DAHS students/parents/guardians...next week:
Tues, July 29 - 8th & 10th grade registration *only these grade students must come for health screenings

Wed, July 30 - 7th & 9th grade registration
Thur, July 31 - 11th & 12th grade registration - also Senior Pictures (you should have received your time in the mail from the photographer)
All registration day times are 8:30-11:30 and 1:00-2:30.
Thur, August 7 - Open House 6pm-8pm (both campuses) *7th grade orientation in gym before at 5:30
Wed, August 13 - FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

*NEW students to our district: Please come enroll your students if you haven't already. These schedules will be handed out at Open House.
RETURNING students: You may come pick up your packet Tues and Wed of this week in the office (closed 12:00 -1:00 for lunch). You must bring it back FULLY completed to registration day next week to receive your schedule.

The Des Arc football program is rolling out a new communication system called SportsYou. It is a very user friendly system and will be a way for coaches to communicate with athletes and parents. Attached are the sign up forms for the Sr high and Jr high teams. ALL football athletes are required to join. 7th - 9th grade players will join using the sign up flyer titled Des Arc Jr football and 10th - 12th grade players will use the Des Arc Sr football flyer. Parents are more than welcome to join through the same process. Download the app and follow the prompts with the access codes.

REMINDER: 2025 Pride of the Prairie youth football camp has been moved to Monday, July 21st. Registration is 8am - 9am and the camp will run from 9 to 11:30. We will have lunch and awards ceremony from 11:30 to noon. Registration forms are still located in the high school and elementary offices and completed forms can be turned back in to the high school office.

Des Arc FFA members have spent the past week at the Arkansas Leadership Conference in Hot Springs. They have spent the week honing their skills as young leaders, participating in community service projects, and gaining knowledge that they can bring back home.

The Eagles had a great day competing in the Small Town Shootout 7 on 7 in Poyen. The Eagles earned a bye in pool play and played in the bracket to the semi finals. Lost to a really good Atkins team. Proud of the effort we showed today! Our guys were making plays all over the field! Go Eagles! #Brotherhood

Pride of the Prairie football camp has moved to Monday July 21st. Coaches are heading out this week taking sponsorship forms to businesses. If you are interested in being a camp sponsor contact Coach Smith (contact info on forms). Camper registration forms will be located on High School and Elementary school offices. Need ALL forms turned back in to any coach on staff or high school office by June 19th. Go Eagles!

This is the schedule for any basketball players who are not playing football. We will begin workouts Tuesday, June 3rd. All basketball players grades 7-12 are expected to be there and will receive a physical schedule for the rest of the summer.

Football Athletes and Parents: Here is our summer schedule for football athletes grades 7-12. 7th-9th grade athletes will be referring to the time slots for Jr High. Incoming 7th graders will need to report the first day of Jr High workouts (June 3rd) and will receive all information regarding the summer football workouts. There could be changes to this schedule throughout the summer but will be posted for parents and athletes to be made aware.
