Way to go Des Arc EAST🤩🦅
If you are going to be a NEW student this upcoming school year in the Des Arc School District, please come register as soon as possible. Our offices are open Monday through Thursday, 8am - 3pm.
We would love to have your student all registered before Registration Day and Open House. This way, we will have their schedule/class placement ready for them.
If you have recently moved into our school district, or already been approved for School Choice, you must come register.
You need to bring the following documents with you:
1) Proof of residency - We will accept an electric bill, water bill, or another utility bill. We also accept mortgage statements or rental/lease contracts.
We will not accept cell phone bills, cable/satellite bills, driver's license, or junk mail.
It must show "physical address".
2) Birth certificate - a copy is fine.
3) Social Security card - If you don't have it, you must bring a letter from the Social Security office showing their number.
4) Shot records - If you don't have shot records, you will need to go by the health dept and get a print out to bring with you.
If you know anyone that is going to be new this fall, please share this information with them, or tag them.

Registration will be held in the front office. Come through front entrance please.
Tues, Aug. 1st - 7th & 9th grade registration from 8:30a - 11:00a and 12:30p - 2:30p
Wed, Aug. 2nd - 8th & 10th grade registration from 8:30a - 11:00a and 12:30p - 2:30p.
Thur, Aug 3rd - 11th & 12 grade registration from 8:30a - 11:00a and 12:30p - 2:30p.
*Just like every year, you must come fill out new paperwork and update all information BEFORE you receive your schedule. You may pick up the paperwork, but it must be returned to us before we will give you your schedule. It is very important to have updated info and new forms at the beginning of each year.
OPEN HOUSE:
Thur, Aug. 10th will be our Open House.
7th Grade Orientation for parents and students will be in the High School Gym from 6p-6:30p. We can't wait to meet you all!
Open House for everyone else is from 6:30p-8:00p.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL:
Mon, Aug. 14th is the first day of school!

Attention Parents: If your child/children still owe a lunchroom bill; THESE NEED TO BE TAKEN CARE OF AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!!! You may pay online by going to the school website- food service- online payment portal. There is $1.60 fee to the payment portal; although if you are paying for more than one child there is only one fee per visit to the payment portal. You will need your child's Student ID number to make the transaction. You may also send a check to Des Arc School District-Food Service 600 Main St., Des Arc, AR 72040. Congratulations to Jonah Winkowski on being elected as a State Representative at Arkansas Boys State!
The Des Arc Bands will have a FREE CAR WASH this Saturday, May 20th, from 8am-Noon. Donations accepted. We will also be selling Hamburger/Hot Dog lunches for $7 each which includes chips and a drink. Meals will be available at 10 am. Proceeds will help those students going to camp this summer. Thanks for your support.

High School Semester Test Schedule
Des Arc Junior High Cheerleaders will be hosting a Parents Night Out as a fundraiser on June 2nd.
It is our pleasure to present this certificate to the winner of the Shelter Insurance Foundation Scholarship awarded this year at Des Arc High School. The winner was selected by an impartial committee who considered academic achievement, leadership, citizenship & moral character, and education goals.
This $1,500 scholarship is made possible by Shelter Insurance Foundation, a non-profit corporation created for charitable and educational purposes, and Jason W. Jones Agency, LLC, an agent for the Shelter Insurance Companies.
The scholarship winner is Alaina Fields.

The parent/student meeting is tonight at 6:00 in the HS Art room. Anyone interested in traveling abroad, please plan to attend. Parents, Grandparents, Aunts/Uncles are welcome on the tour. We will discuss the itinerary, payment options/plans, fund raising ideas, etc. It’s going to be a great adventure. See you there!
