Des Arc Girls Basketball Team defeats Palestine Wheatley and will play in the semifinal game against Barton tomorrow at 12:00. This also secures the girls a spot in the Regional tournament hosted by Barton next week. Congratulations and go Eagles!

Due to the weather, the Track teams will not be attending the State Indoor in Fayetteville this weekend.
We are extending the early entry deadline for the Miss DA pageant until next Monday, February 24th, due to inclement weather conditions.

Sports Update:
Due to the chance of bad weather next week- the Sr. High district tournament at Carlisle is going to move the dates and times of the games. The Sr. boys will now play this Saturday (Feb 15) at 1:30. We will update the girls game when they send out the entire schedule.
Don’t forget the deadline for regular entry is Tuesday, February 18th. We have scholarships available for the 11/12 grade division.
Congratulations to Kyrstin Horton for receiving one of the DAR State scholarships for $1,000. She was chosen as 1 of 5 applicants throughout the state to earn this scholarship and prestigious award!!
The Jostens rep will be here tomorrow (Tuesday, Feb 11th) with information for letterman jackets. Any student interested will need to see him to get a size, and packet. Students will need no money tomorrow. He will return on Feb. 19th to get their orders.
The Jr. High District Basketball tournament begins today in Des Arc.

Thursday February 6 is Parent Teacher Conferences for PreK-12. PreK will dismiss at 12:45, Elementary at 1:00, and High School at 1:15. Conferences are from 2:00-6:00.

Saturday February 8 - PALS Daddy Daughter Dance for Des Arc Elementary girls and dads.
