Parents and Guardians,
At Des Arc Schools, we believe that attendance is crucial in order for your child to receive a quality education. In an effort to better communicate your child's attendance to you, we have implemented a Student Absentee Text Alert. This alert will notify you through a text message if your child has been counted absent from school that day and that the absence has been coded as unexcused. You may receive up to two text a day that will represent each half of the school day. If you get a text but are aware that your child is not at school that day, then this could be a notice that you need to call the school in order to have the absence excused. Our hope is that this will help keep you, the parent better informed.
