Des Arc Schools is now accepting applications for full-time and pare-time bus drivers.
Education/Certification:
A clear and valid Arkansas Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a P (Passenger) and S (School Bus) endorsement is required. However, Des Arc Public Schools will assist any School Bus Driver applicant with obtaining a CDL. Will work a Three-to-Four-hour work days made up of a morning and afternoon route.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Must be 18 years of age
Ability to pass background check, U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests and annual physical exam
Ability to complete required bus driver safety training
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to manage student behavior
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Experience: No experience required
