Des Arc School District

Five of our Des Arc Band students traveled to Harding University on April 5th and 6th to participate in the AR Small Band Association All-Star Honor Band. These students auditioned in February and earned this great distinction. The 120-member All-Star Band is made up of students from 2A-4A schools and are in the 10th-12th grades. These students were: Karly Woodall, Jolie Spratt, Mallory Baxter, Will Spratt, and Maddox Ward. Mallory Baxter, a Senior, was awarded a $500 scholarship from ASBA to further her participation in the college band next year. Only 2 scholarships are given each year. Congratulations to all the participants who performed an outstanding concert on April 6th.
