On February 25th, twelve of Des Arc's eighth grade students competed in the Region 8 National History Day Competition at Harding University. This was the first time for DAHS students to compete in History Day and they performed very well. Des Arc took the first and second place awards in Jr. High Group Exhibit with Emma Buckner and Layla Gardner placing first and Addison Gehring, Baylee Partain, Braylin Hudson, and Reagan Kittler taking second. Hayden Stuckey placed third in the Jr. High Individual Exhibit. Harley Latourrette and Alicia Lemoine placed first in Jr. High Group Website. These students will advance to the state competition on April 22nd. Go Eagles!!
